According to the Roundtable on This Week, the commentators appear to already believe that President Obama is searching for a face saving compromise that he can get passed by the Democrats and declare victory.  They also said that the President in his speech telegraphed to Democrats that the public option would not be in the final bill.  This was an incredible exchange.  You can see the video and make up your own mind here.
